How to join
Only LoreBary members can join. Enter your Minecraft name in your LoreBary settings under "Minecraft". You are on the whitelist within a minute. Then follow the three steps below.

Every season lasts 30 days and changes the world. Days take 40 minutes, with music for every hour.

How to join

Takes about 5 minutes. The installer sets up Java, Forge and every mod for you.

1.Get Minecraft

Install the official Minecraft Launcher from minecraft.net. You need Minecraft: Java Edition.

Sign in, open the launcher once, then close it again.

2.Run the LoreBary installer

Download the installer

  1. Double-click LoreBary-Installer.bat in your Downloads.
  2. If a blue window says "Windows protected your PC", click More info and then Run anyway.
  3. Wait until it says All done! and close the window.
  1. Press Cmd + Space, type Terminal and press Enter.
  2. Copy this line, paste it into the Terminal and press Enter:
curl -fsSL https://minecraft.lorebary.com/install.sh | bash

Wait until it says "All done!" and close the Terminal.

  1. Open a terminal.
  2. Copy this line, paste it and press Enter:
curl -fsSL https://minecraft.lorebary.com/install.sh | bash

Works with the official launcher and the Flatpak version. Wait until it says "All done!".

3.Play

Open the Minecraft Launcher. Next to the big Play button, pick LoreBary from the list and press Play.

The first start takes a minute. In the menu click Join LoreBary and you are in.

The game says I am not on the whitelist.

Open lorebary.com settings, go to Account, enter your Minecraft name under "Minecraft" and save. Wait a minute, then join again. No account yet? Sign up for free on lorebary.com.

How do I update the pack?

Just run the installer again. It replaces the mods and keeps your own settings.

Which computer do I need?

Any computer that runs Minecraft well, with at least 8 GB of memory. The installer picks the right memory setting for you.

The installer says Minecraft was not found.

Open the official Minecraft Launcher once and sign in, then run the installer again.

The game feels slow.

Close other programs and lower the render distance in Options. The first minute after joining is always a bit busy.

How do I remove it?

Delete the LoreBary profile in the launcher and the folder ".minecraft-lorebary" (on Mac "minecraft-lorebary"). Your normal Minecraft stays untouched.
